We had a GREAT DAY! And so much fun! Thank you to Linda & Cheryl for making it a special event!
Roy and Donna Larson (pictured above) attended. They were Prime Timer founders in 1999.
I have a lot of history and pictures from the 20 years to load into our history page. This will probably be a summer project and will let you all know when it's done.
Below is a list of the 45 original members. The stars next to the names indicate those who are in the club today!

Summer Biking by Dave Whipple
If you are interested in hearing about the bike rides…
I will be using the mailing list from last year about the bike rides. If you want to be included in these mailings, you must OPT IN. In other words, send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and ask to be put on the list. This group is separate from the Prime Timers, so feel free to ask friends to join and get on the mailing list. This will be the only mailing about bike riding to the Prime Timers mailing list this year.I’ve had lots of questions about Prime Timer bike rides this summer. Yes, I plan on organizing these rides but will need some help.
I will be glad to publicize the rides; I just won’t be able to lead many of them. Some of the favorite rides from the last year include the following:
· Centennial Trail in the valley – From the west end of the off road trail near Argonne to Barker and back, often starting in the middle at Mirabeau Park.
· Fish Lake Trail
· Kendall Yards to seven mile – out on the trail, home on Audrey White Parkway
· Children of the Sun Trail
· Green Bluff loop
· Centennial Trail Idaho, Rest stop to C d’A and back
· West Coeur d’Alene/East Post Falls neighborhood ride
· Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes start at the Snake Pit, head toward Harrison for 45 minutes, return
· Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes Plummer to Harrison and back. Optional start at Heyburn State Park, doing the long, gradual uphill first instead of last
· Hiawatha Trail
If you would like to lead a ride, let me know and I will schedule it. It doesn’t have to be on this list.

Our 3rd annual party was a big success! It was really fun to see everyone and get exctied for the upcoming ski season. The buffet was excellent, followed by the prize giveaways.
.....And we sure had great prizes!
Generous donations from Alpine Haus ($25 gift card & $160 in services), Mountain Gear (3 - three day rentals), Sports Creel (Boot & glove warmer) , wine, candles, coffee cards, hand warmers, handmade boot horns, ski socks and more gifts donated by members made it extra special!

"The Mt. Spokane Ski Prime Timers are all about having FUN! Anyone 55 and older who enjoys Alpine and X-Country skiing can join.
The prime timers start Skiing the first Wednesday in January and then every Wednesday thereafter until the mountain closes. Their informal social gathering with refreshments at the end of the ski day is held in the balcony above the bar where they enjoy each other's company and share ski experiences."

10-21-18 afternoon update. I have it on good authority that a) load test on chair 6 will be on 11-10-18 b) ski school building will be ready for this season c) the building will serve the ski school and facilities (equipment, signage, etc in basement) d) magic carpet will be up and running for this season. It'll run from the end of ditch (right of that truck) to the orange post in the pic and is roughly inline with uphill side of lodge 2. e) there will be a temporary fence along the retaining wall with a permanent one being installed next year. Sorry, it's not a terrain park feature. f) road to top of mtn was and is closed for the season. Enjoy! 🎿
