Happy St Paddy's day! Even though it may not seem to festive right now, we sure pulled off a fantastic party last week and we'll survive these challenging & historic times. We had a fantastic season, it just ended quicker than we would have liked.
We all want to stay healthy and we appreciate the decision made by Mt Spokane.
Please stayed tuned for Dave Whipple's cycling opportunities. You'll received an email when it kicks off, probably not until May or June.
We may also be doing some hiking (skinning) to ski Mt Spokane.
The best place to be right now is outside enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
If there's anything we can do for any of our members during this difficult time , please let me know.
It just takes a request from you and I can send out an email. Our members are willing to help.
As Prime Timers, many of us are the "vulnerable population", and some should not be going out at all and may need groceries - hopefully not Toilet Paper (sorry had to say that).
Please let me know

As you know, we checked out McCall as an option for our Annual Ski Trip. All 6 of us agreed this could be a great area to visit. We skied at Brundage and Tamarack mountains.
It is awesome Galen is willing to put his credit card on the line to reserve room blocks as he's done for our Whitefish trips.
We could do both trips, but we would need to ask someone else to help with accommodations as we can't ask Galen to do both.
THE DATES WOULD BE
McCall FEB 15 - 19
Whitefish FEB 7 - 10

A little more info:
Brundage is 15 minutes from McCall and there is a shuttle service. Tamarack is 30 minutes from McCall and would be self drive to the mountain.
Brundage has a Mt Spokane feel only bigger, a high speed quad, great runs & very good grooming. https://brundage.com/ Tamarack (pictured above) https://tamarackidaho.com/ has a relaxed upscale feel with all high speed lifts, a base village, hotels, condos & homes. There's long cruiser runs and steep terrain as well. We loved both mountains and all agreed this would be a great option since there are two mountains so close together.
McCall is a quaint small town about 5 hours drive from Spokane. Most things are within walking distance or short drive from the hotel we've chosen. We checked out a number of hotels and found The Holiday Inn Express to be perfect for us. It has a similar feel to the Lodge at Whitefish, about the same cost, PLUS you get a free breakfast. There's restaurants within walking distance or a few block's drive. There's lots to do including X-country skiing & snow shoeing options at Tamarack and a sleigh ride to see elk herds.
If Mccall is the preferred choice, Galen would be securing a block of 20 rooms and and additional 20 if needed.
THE DATES WOULD BE FEB 15 - 19. Four nights KING $524 and double QUEEN $570 ($35 off their regular prices)
Please check your preference below. Whitefish would remain the same dates: FEB 7 - 10
