Special Olympics at Mt. Spokane JAN 26 - VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!



Special Olympics Washington

 are looking for volunteers to help with their 2020 Eastern Washington Ski & Snowboard regional competition on January 26th at Mt. Spokane. 

Volunteers are needed in a variety of roles both on the mountain  and at the base:


gate judges 

awards helpers

lunch distribution  and more.

Lookout Prime Timer's 2020 Invitational

Come join us on Thursday Jan. 23rd, and Friday Jan. 24th for great fun skiing and socializing!!

Discount vouchers can be obtained from the KPND Radio Station in Sandpoint, Ski Shack in Hayden,  and Mountain Gear in Spokane.  

We will host a social at 2:00 on Thursday in The Loft Bar, with free snacks and door prizes.  Please check-in when coming into the Loft; and pick up your door prize ticket and name tag.

Extend your ski experience with an overnight and dining at the Historic Wallace Inn, on January 23rd. This year’s all-inclusive package will include a deluxe overnight, served dinner, breakfast buffet and 2 house beers/wine.

Single occupied, queen bedded room the package will be $136.00

Double occupied, single queen bedded room the package will be $189.00                   

Double queen bedded room or king bedded room the package will be $199.00

Discounted Direct-to-Lift Tickets at Yoke’s

Lift Tickets will be available at all Yoke’s locations starting Mid-November.  Save up to $5 off the window rate and avoid ticket lines – purchase discounted direct-to-lift tickets at area Yoke’s Fresh Market stores before you come up to the mountain. Senior’s have been added to the ticket options for the 2019-2020 season.

Yokes: Saves $5 off the ticket you choose, then add 8.1% tax.  This is better than the window, but onlline options would be better.

Our 4th annual trip to Whitefish is planned for Sunday February 2rd - Thursday February 6th at The Lodge at Whitefish Lake.  The welcome reception will be Monday the 3rd at the Lodge. 

Rooms are $115 plus 12% tax = $128 per night. Galen has reserved 40 rooms in our block, (22 King bed rooms, and 18 (2)Queen bed rooms.  (4 nights approx $515)  One night room will be charged to your card.  (refundable 72 hours prior to Feb 3rd)  Final balance charged upon departure.
